Boots and Blessings 2025: A Celebration with Purpose

On May 10, 2025, Diamond in the Rough Inc. proudly hosted its Second Annual Giving Back event titled “Boots and Blessings: Sip, Shop, and Support” at our beloved Buttons and Threads Thrift Store, a cornerstone of our community initiative. This year, we were thrilled to welcome over 50 enthusiastic guests who joined us for a delightful afternoon filled with a vibrant shopping experience, lively music, delectable refreshments, exciting raffle prizes, and a memorable special appearance by the Houston County Cowboy, who brought a touch of local charm and entertainment to our gathering.
This event not only served as a wonderful social occasion but also played a vital role in supporting our community. Thanks to the generous support from local businesses and individuals, as well as the impactful efforts of our Threads of Hope Program, we successfully raised an impressive $1,500. These funds will be directed towards the Community Outreach Service Center, which proudly holds the title of the longest-running transitional housing program in Houston County, Georgia. This program has been instrumental in providing essential services and support to individuals and families in need, helping them transition to stable housing and empowering them towards self-sufficiency.
